WHAT’S AN ADJUSTABLE BED?
Contrary to popular belief, adjustable beds have not been designed primarily for hospitals or for the use of old people and the invalid. Adjustable beds, above all else, were designed to provide sleeping comfort to the user. An adjustable bed is a bed that can be folded or adjusted and reclined or inclined in different angles, depending on the preferences of the user.

WHAT ARE THE USES OR ADVANTAGES OF AN ADJUSTABLE BED?
There are a lot of uses and advantages to be found in using an adjustable bed. But first, let’s concentrate on the health and comfort benefits it provides to people with medical conditions. An adjustable bed is very good for people with degenerative spondylolisthesis because an adjustable bed enables them to sleep in a reclining position but at the same time providing support to their knees. This position would then alleviate some of the pain that they feel on their lower back and therefore lets them sleep better through the night.

An adjustable bed is also good for people diagnosed with osteoarthritis or what they call facet joint arthritis. People with this condition often find it hard looking for a comfortable position to sleep in. An adjustable bed could help them find the exact sleeping position they’re looking for and therefore let them sleep more soundly and wake up with minimal aches and pains on their joints. Thirdly, an adjustable bed can also provide comfort to people with spinal stenosis. Usually, when one has spinal stenosis, the patient finds it difficult to stand up straight which is what you have to do sometimes when using a conventional bed.  Lastly, people who just had lower back surgeries also find it more comfortable using an adjustable bed than the conventional one.

GOOD QUALITIES OR CHARACTERISTICS OF AN ADJUSTABLE BED
Warranty – Always, when purchasing any product that has a mechanical device, remember to ask the seller or manufacturer if it comes with a warranty. This is to ensure that when something goes wrong with your adjustable bed – maybe it could be a product defect or you misread one of the instructions – you know you won’t be alone when handling the problem. A warranty covering ten to twenty years is good enough.
MOTOR – It’s better to choose one that runs smoothly and quietly.
