How to Ease Back Pain
We all know how back pain be a really heavy burden to carry. It will make doing some physical activity and work hard to do. Even the simplest thing like trying to tie your shoe lace will seem like a task meant for gladiators. When a person also experiences total back pain, he will bend over more making him look more like the hunch back of Notre Dame. The only thing he’ll need is a bell to ring and he’ll be able to find himself some job as a mascot.
All jokes aside, back pain is a really serious issue. It is mainly caused by having a very inactive lifestyle, like staying in front of a computer all-day, lack of exercise and high calorie diets causes back pain. It also causes the person to gain weight and maybe because of the weight of his belly that is being pulled down by gravity, his back gets pulled off too. Here are some tips that will help us all out in preventing back pain.
• Cut down on the fatty diet. Eat more foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals. Follow the food pyramid chart if you have too. Just maintain the level you eat and don’t over eat a well.
• Try not to slouch. Even when sitting down. Stand with your weight to be distributed equally. If you can’t figure out how to do it, bring a calculator and divide your weight by two. Also try sucking in your stomach, as you try to suck in your stomach, your back will be forced to become straighter.
• Try seeing a doctor to diagnose if it is arthritis. The earlier it is prevented or remedied; there will be more chance to prevent disability. Try to see a legit doctor and not doctors that seem to be witch doctors. Although the needle therapy that is practiced by Chinese therapist may work. Your mind will easily say, I don’t want needles in my back so I’ll just pretend the pain went away.
• Smoking increases back pain as seen by researchers.
• Try getting a good night’s sleep, this is where trying to find a good mattress or adjustable beds come in. As some doctors say that adjustable beds can even help people with complications such as asthma, high blood pressure, etc.
• Don’t be stressed out always. Try to learn to relax, maybe yoga and meditation will help you out. The more stress you feel, the heavier your back seems to feel.
• Exercise is important. Don’t even consider switching channels using your remote as exercise of your fingers. The best exercise should include, motion, strengthening and endurance exercise.
Following these tips will be able to give the relaxed back you always wanted to have. Instead of looking more like a twenty year old with a seventy year old body, you’ll look firmer and have a great back as well.
